Dr. Fred Clary, D.C., D.I.B.C.N.

Creator of Functional Analysis Chiropractic Technique (F.A.C.T.)
Board certified chiropractic neurologist and instructor
Powerlifting World Record holder at age 18

Dr. Clary is proud of his East Coast background.  Being raised in the blue-collar area of Dundalk, MD (Southeast Baltimore). This is where he learned his work ethic and sense of human equality. In high school he discovered his love for lifting weights that went far beyond training for high school varsity athletics.  As a teen, he trained with the men and National Champions in their 20s, 30s, 40s and even 50s. He went from being the young mascot on the team to the State Men’s Champion as a teenager.  His paradigm was made larger by not accepting the limitations of age and expectation. Dr. Clary was able to establish himself in this sport and won many events including several world records (some still standing over 30 years later).

While working his way through college preparing for medical school or physical therapy Dr. Clary discovered chiropractic and soon moved to Minnesota to begin studies at Northwestern Chiropractic College.  After graduating and opening multiple clinics including stroke rehabilitation clinics, he was unsatisfied by the traditional approaches to health care and chiropractic.  He studied graduate level curriculum leading to a master’s in health care administration learning statistical and philosophical foundations (and fallacies) of our current system.

In the year 2000 Dr. Clary began to develop his own Chiropractic Technique based on the dynamic physiology of the human body as an assessment tool (breathing and movement).  By 2006, a small textbook was written and teaching classes nationwide, Functional Analysis Chiropractic Technique was born. Complicated case like strokes, cerebral palsy, movement disorders, and other stubborn human miseries began to be amenable. Since that time, Professor Clary has taught thousands of post graduate hours on neurology including training other chiropractors to become board certified neurologists.

Systematic Coaching

Dr. Clary’s mission is to help everyone he interacts with reach their full potential, whether that is a patient, a coaching client, an athlete that he coaches or a neighbor. Dr. Clary finds success by taking a step back and stripping down systems (athletic training, clinical intervention or the philosophy of biology) and discards the culturally but not clinically or scientific important components. This creates a less biased and clearer system to work with.

Compassionate Connections

Dr. Clary lives a purpose driven life hoping to make a positive impact on health care and in the lives of others.   Dr. Clary has the unique skill to help the client to a more successful life for themselves and their family without the client even noticing the course correction except for the long term impact.

Family Focused

Family centered and can be seen yelling loudly at his children’s volleyball games, gymnastic meets, dance performances, theater performances, swim meets, he is even a cheer dad! You can even find him helping with factoring polynomials on a late Sunday night with his kids. Fred is his wife Belinda’s biggest fan, cheering her accomplishments as a professional powerlifter and midwifery student while still being the family’s rock.
